What does this unit do? Well, have you asked these questions?:
Is the effect really off or not?
The effect is coloring my sound when it's in "off" mode. What do I do?
Does this pedal really have true bypass switching like it says it does?
I don't want to mod my vintage pedal(s) for true bypass. Is there another solution?
I've noticed a loss of highs and volume when going through a certain effect when it's "off". This loss does not occur when I play straight into the amp. What can I do?
If you have asked any questions like those, you need this box!!
USES: Can be used to reveal tone-sucking pedals via A/B selection between your guitars straight signal path and the effect in question or, as a permanent bypass box for your vintage pedals you do not wish to modify internally for true bypass.
EXAMPLES: Run your Wah, Fuzzface, and Tubescreamer before or after the box then, make a seperate loop for your Flanger, Echoplex, Univibe, etc...so you won't be going through as many effects in a row to your amp. Whatever configuration/use that suits you. Great utility box.
OTHER IDEAS: Regular Echoplex (echo on/off)foot controllers can cost around $50.00. This could possibly be the finest Echoplex foot controller. Not only turn the echo on or off but, true-bypass the unit when "off"!! Do that with the regular controller!! Or, use as a junction for your tuner. Use "In" for your guitar, use "Send" to go to your amp, and then use "Out" to go to your tuner. Quick, silent tuning while you're onstage!!.
INGREDIENTS: Hammond Die-Cast Aluminum enclosure, (1) 3PDT switch, 22 Gauge Silver Plated Military Spec. Wiring, Audio Grade Silver Solder, and (4) Switchcraft jacks.
LEDS: For the 9V DC Jack, these units require a 9V AC adapter with a Boss/Ibanez style 2.1mm barrel plug. If you do not have one, we have these in the "Accessories" section. (Unit will work without LED's. The LED circuit in any Loop-Master™ unit does not affect tone.)
