On strips and pedals with a tuner out, is the signal fed to the tuner at all times?

No. When you select "Tune", your signal is routed to the tuner only. Your amp will be muted while you tune silently. If you need the signal to be fed to the tuner at all times when off and tune silently when on, we can accommodate this as a special request.

What does the polarity switch on the Mini Tap Tempo do?

The polarity switch on the Mini Tap Tempo is useful for effects that have an optional tap tempo jack that may function differently. When you connect the tap tempo to a device and press the switch down to set the tempo, it may be reversed, where you set the tempo on the upstroke throw of the switch. The polarity switch allows you to flip the toggle switch so that you can set the tempo on the down stroke of the switch.

On a loop strip or pedal, if I leave the receive disconnected and connect the send of a loop to a tuner, can I use a loop for silent tuning?

Yes, but please note that when you are tuning using a loop, it will not be completely silent as they are not wired specifically for this application. You may faintly hear the notes when tuning. However, if you choose a model with a tuner out, bleed-over will not occur.

Has my order been shipped?

If your order is marked as "shipped" under your account, you should receive a USPS email notification soon. Please note that it may take up to a week or more in some cases.

Do you accept PayPal payments?

Yes, we do accept PayPal payments. You will find the details during the checkout process.

Can you paint my switcher in a certain color?

We apologize for any inconvenience, but we do not offer painting services for our switchers. However, we excel at building high-quality switchers to meet your specific needs.

Are your switchers pop-free? Quiet? Etc...

We take pride in the quality of our switchers, but don't just take our word for it. Feel free to read our extensive collection of reviews spanning several years to judge for yourself.

Do you use a soft switch on your tap-tempo pedals?

Our tap-tempo pedals feature momentary switches that are very soft but do have a slight mechanical click. We offer the option of using a softer switch, but please note that it would not allow for the inclusion of a polarity switch. If you prefer a softer switch, kindly let us know if you require a normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO) switch. Please note that soft switches are only available for tap-tempo and stutter bomb pedals.

What is the mA draw of your switchers?

The power consumption of our switchers is typically between 2-4 mA, which is negligible when calculating power requirements for your pedal board. The power usage is solely for the LEDs.

What LED colors do you offer?

We offer a range of LED colors including amber, blue, green, red, white, yellow, purple, and pink. When ordering a switcher with LEDs, you can specify your preferred LED colors in the comments section during checkout. Rest assured that there are no additional charges for choosing your desired LED colors.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes, all Loop-Master products come with a three-year warranty for the original purchaser. If you encounter any issues with your Loop-Master switcher within this time frame, simply reach out to us via email, and we will take care of it. However, please note that returns are for repair purposes only, as our switchers are meticulously hand-built.

What is the difference between decals and non-decals or, what are decals?

Decals refer to the lettering you see on our switchers, such as "send", "receive", "loop 1", etc. Non-decal versions, on the other hand, do not feature any lettering. You have the option to choose between the two when selecting your preferred switcher.

Do you install buffers?

No, our loopers are true bypass, and we believe that the inclusion of a buffer depends on personal preference. Therefore, we do not install buffers on our products. If you find that you require a buffer, we recommend using an external one, as it provides flexibility for future signal chain changes. Installing a buffer within a looper would restrict its position in your setup.

On your loop boxes and strips with more than one loop, can more than one loop be accessed at a time or just one at a time?

You can activate any single loop or any combination of loops you like. You can also turn off all loops, allowing your signal to pass unaffected through the loop box. Please note that loop pedals in the "Specialized Switchers and Routers" section function differently. For more details, refer to the respective descriptions.

Can you put any jacks on the sides of the strip units?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to put jacks on the sides of the strip units. We apologize for any inconvenience.

I placed an order and I did not receive any confirmation emails and I am not getting any updates.

If you have placed an order and made a payment, rest assured that we have received it. If you are not receiving confirmation emails or updates, please check if the email address you registered with is valid or if the emails are being caught in your spam filter. Sometimes, email servers on the customer's end may also block these updates. In such cases, you can log in to your account at loop-master.com to view the order status.

How does the tuner out work? Does it mute the amp when you select this button? Can it be used as an output to another amp?

To use the tuner out, simply turn on your tuner and connect a cable from the tuner out on the Loop-Master box to the tuner input. When you hit "Tune," your amp's signal will be muted, and your guitar will be routed only to the tuner for silent tuning. The "Tuner Out" can be used as an output to another amp, but please note that all effect loops on the unit will only work for the "Out" jack.

On your loop boxes with two or more loops, are the loops wired in series or parallel?

The loops are wired in series, meaning the signal flows from loop 1 to loop 2 to loop 3, and so on.

Can I get my box painted in a different color?

We apologize, but we do not have the capability to paint the boxes in different colors. We are not skilled at painting them.

Why does it take so long to build and ship these?

The reason for the longer build and ship time is the high demand for our products. To ensure quality control, our loop boxes are built by hand by one person. We strive to deliver the best quality, which takes time.

Are all the Loop-Master units in stock and ready to ship?

No, all our Loop-Master units are hand-built to order. They are not pre-built and kept in stock.

Can you make an effect switcher with a blend control?

Currently, we do not offer effect switchers with a blend control. If such units become available, they will be listed in the "Specialized Switchers and Routers" section.

Can you make a 20 loop effect switcher?

Yes, we can make a 20 loop effect switcher, and we can even make units larger than that with additional features like tuner outputs, master bypasses, A/B/Y outputs, clean/dirty sections, and more.

On your loop boxes with two or more loops, if I have an overdrive in loop 1 and a chorus in loop 2, and the loops are on, will the signal flow from the overdrive to the chorus or vice versa?

The signal will flow from loop 1 (overdrive) to loop 2 (chorus) when both loops are engaged, just as it would without a loop box.

I have X number of pedals but want to get a looper with more loops than I need at the moment because I may add more pedals later. Will it cause any problems if I don't use the unused loops?

No, it will not cause any problems if you don't use the unused loops. Just keep the unused loops turned off at all times and be careful not to step on them during recording or performances, as it will cut your signal. Optionally, you can patch each unused loop with a short patch cable to avoid accidentally activating them.

How do I check on my order?

If you have created an account, you can sign in and view the status of your order under your account history. If you checked out via PayPal without creating an account, go to the front page of our website, click on "My Account" at the top right, then click "Log In", and finally click "Password Forgotten". Provide the same email you used to make the purchase with PayPal, and you will receive instructions on how to proceed. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam and trash folders.

Do you accept custom orders?

We accept some custom orders. Feel free to send us a drawing or description of your requirements. If it is a unit that consolidates several of our standard units into one, it can likely be done. However, please note that units with a wide variety of options may either take a long time to layout or may not be accepted due to time restrictions.

Why do you use rivets only on your strip-style pedals?

We initially tried using screws, but due to numerous complaints about them not holding as well as rivets, we switched back to rivets. Rivets offer better stability and a more appealing look compared to screws. If you ever need to remove the rivets, it is a simple process. Just drill them out with a 1/8" drill bit. If you prefer, you can replace them with short screws.

What is the point of a master bypass switch? I mean, if the loops are true bypass, why do you need that?

The master bypass switch serves two main purposes. Firstly, it allows you to deactivate multiple loops with a single switch, saving you the effort of deselecting them one by one. Secondly, you can turn on the master bypass and pre-select any number of loops, so they are ready to go when you deactivate the master bypass switch.

Can I cancel my order?

Since all switchers are built to order and work begins immediately upon receiving the order, canceling an order is not possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

I would like to add an item or items to my current order. Will it cause me to be bumped to the back of the line?

Adding additional items to your current order will not automatically cause you to be bumped to the back of the line. Please send us an email with your five-digit order number, name, and the items you would like to add, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
