This single channel patcher can be used to link or lengthen any cables that use 1/4" mono TS plugs. (or simply put, a standard guitar cable)

Example: If you have an amp footswitch on your board that uses a 1/4" mono cable, run it to this little feller and connect permanently. Use the other jack for quick hookups and disconnects.
